Our pledge
Every word is yours.
There is no AI in Leyden & Beam. Not as a feature, not as a setting, not hidden in the background. This is a promise about what we build, and one you can check.
What we promise
Six things you will never find in the app
No generated text
Nothing in the app writes for you, continues your sentences, or drafts a paragraph.
No rewriting or polishing
Your words are never "improved," paraphrased or smoothed over by a model.
No suggestions
No AI tells you what to argue, what to cut, or what to say next.
No summaries
Your sources are yours to read. Nothing condenses them for you.
No transcription or handwriting reading
Speech-to-text and handwriting recognition are models too, so they are left out.
No plugging AI in
There is no place to add your own AI key, so nobody can ever say you did.
Why it matters
Your thinking is the whole point
Your work is yours to defend.
When anyone can be accused of using AI, a tool with none in it, and a record of how you worked, is the strongest answer you can give.
Your voice stays your own.
Publishers, committees and readers can trust that every page came from you and no one, and nothing, else.
You understand every argument.
A case you built yourself is one you can defend under questioning, line by line.
A spark is yours. So is everything you build from it.
Don't take our word for it
A promise anyone can check
The app we serve is built from our source code in a way anyone can repeat, and it comes out identical, byte for byte. We publish its fingerprint, so you, your school or your publisher can confirm that what you are running is exactly what we say it is.
Every record of your work carries the same fingerprint, so whoever reads it can see which version of the app built it.
